MR RUSIATE TUDRAVU
Commissioner of the Fiji Police Force
Mr. Rusiate Tudravu is a distinguished and highly accomplished law enforcement professional with over 40 years of dedicated service in the Fiji Police Force. Currently serving as the Commissioner of Police since February 2025, he leads national law enforcement operations with a strong focus on public safety, strategic leadership, and operational excellence.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Tudravu has held several senior leadership roles, including Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chief Operations Officer, Director of Operations, and Director of Special Branch, Divisional Police Commander. His extensive experience encompasses strategic planning, intelligence management, crisis response, and community policing. He has also served as Chief Personal Protection Officer to the President of Fiji.
Mr. Tudravu holds an Executive MBA from the Fiji National University, along with advanced qualifications in management and leadership from prestigious institutions in Australia, China, Russia, and the United States. He has participated in numerous international training programs and represented Fiji in multinational policing initiatives, including the Commonwealth Multinational Police Monitoring Group in the Solomon Islands.
Beyond policing, Mr. Tudravu has contributed to national and community development as Chairman of the Tailevu Provincial Council and through various board appointments.
